Robert Dragone

Robert J. Dragone, Host of LearnChair Radio, served 33 years in the U.S. Intelligence Community, as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force and the Central Intelligence Agency. Upon retirement from the CIA he was awarded the Career Intelligence Medal. Subsequently, Bob joined SpecTal LLC, an intelligence and security company in the Washington, D.C. area, as a senior consultant. He remained a senior intelligence expert when SpecTal became part of the Intelligence and Security Sector of BAE, the world’s largest defense contractor. During his career, Bob held several senior management positions, but also specialized in mentoring and training. His last position with the CIA was as a member of the Agency’s Leadership Academy.

Bob retired from BAE is April 2013 to found AQQOLADE, Inc. Using the skills he acquired while working for the U.S Intelligence Community, he and his co-founder, Devie Dragone, brought on board a team of highly experienced leadership and communications instructors. AQQOLADE focused on development of leadership and communications skills to customize programs for individual clients.

Bob now devotes his time to hosting LearnChair Radio. He considers himself a student of leadership rather than an expert, always look for the next guest to lend insight to what great leadership is all about.
